GFG Teases Kangaroo Electric Hyper-SUV Ahead Of Geneva and the concept of this hyper-beast and gorgeous car

"GFG Style  Kangaroo"  joins the EV-rich 2019 Geneva Motor Show"

    The Italian company GFG Style announced a new Kangaroo concept for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which is described as an Electric Hyper-SUV.

     The performance without a doubt seems strong, although we still need to confirm the plug-in capability.

     Although they can be a menace, the Kangaroo could be hopping to a dealer near you. When VW Group purchased Italdesign in 2015, legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro left to form his own styling firm.

    GFG style is a father & son duo with Fabrizio, who are poised to shake up the industry. For that reason, GFG has unveiled the Kangaroo SUV in Geneva.

     GFG kangaroo style, the design studio born from a partnership between legendary designer and former Italdesign head Giorgetto Giugiaro and his son Fabrizio, have a new concept to show us—but not a typical one.

     The firm plans to debut the Kangaroo super-SUV on Tuesday at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, a design that blends elements of supercars and SUVs to realize an incredibly fast vehicle no matter the terrain.

     It's an idea that isn't new to the Giugiaros. In fact, it's something the father-and-son team explored when they were still at their eponymous design firm.

Tesla Model 3

     The Tesla Model 3 is a  mid-size all-electric four-door  sedan manufactured and sold by Tesla Inc. According to Tesla officials, the Model 3 standard model delivers an  EPA-rated  all electric range  of 220 miles (354 km) and the long-range model delivers 310 miles (500 km). The Model 3 has a minimalist  dashboard with only a center-mounted LCD touch screen.

   Within a week of unveiling the Model 3 in 2016, Tesla revealed they had taken 325,000 reservations for the car, more than triple the number of model S  sedans sold by the end of 2015. These reservations represent potential sales of over US$14 billion. By August 2017, there were 455,000 net reservations, and an average of 1,800 reservations were being added per day.

   Limited production of the Model 3 began in mid-2017, with the first production vehicle rolling off the assembly line on July 7, 2017,and the official launch and delivery of the first 30 cars on July 28.Customer deliveries totaled 1,764 units in 2017.Tesla's target for making 5,000 vehicles per week is projected at the end of June 2018, after previously promising earlier dates.

Suzuki GSX-S750 features, price, etc.

   

   Introducing its first middleweight motorcycle in the country, Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the GSX-S750 priced at Rs. 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new  Suzuki GSXs -750  arrives about two months after it was first revealed at the Auto Expo 2018 for the Indian market and is the manufacturer's first locally assembled offering in the sub-1000 cc segment, and second CKD model overall, joining the Hayabusa. 

  The new GSX-S750 builds on the sporting DNA of the GSX-R series, taking cues from the Suzuki GSX-S1000 litre-class motorcycle.

   Given the thrilling, almost frightening, ferocity of the big GSX-S1000, one can't help but expect the same from its smaller sibling. After all, they both look quite alike in person. The new 750 uses a similar version of the 1000’s headlight, but the ‘fangs’ that double up as the position lamps are now separated from the main headlight unit. The same goes for the mass-heavy front-end theme, with aggressive overhangs that extend quite close to the base of the engine.

   As with the GSX-S1000, my favourite angle on the bike is the sharp tail end that’s complemented by a subtle brake lamp. The rider gets a spacious and nicely flat seat and the flat bar tapers towards the edges, creating a sporty forward stance, but not a punishing one.

   Facing the rider is the same LCD instrument cluster as on the GSX-S1000 – easy to read and sufficiently informative.

   But that’s just the thing – the Suzuki is a fine sum of all its parts and it makes for a lovely, very sweet package overall. This is the kind of bike that won’t blow you away with one special talent, but instead it will win you over with a well-tempered and thoroughly likeable demeanour.

   And it becomes all the more likeable when you factor in the tempting price tag, enabled by it being a CKD import from Japan. At Rs 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) the GSX-S750 actually undercuts the well-priced Kawasaki Z900 (Rs 7.68 lakh), is significantly more affordable than the Triumph Street Triple S (Rs 9.19 lakh), and is also priced substantially lower than the Yamaha MT-09 (Rs 9.5 lakh). At this price, the Suzuki warrants serious consideration, and we’re itching to spend more time with it on the road.

   Power on the the Suzuki GSX-S750 comes from a 748 CC in-line, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned to produce 113 bhp at 10,500 rpm and peak torque of 81 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The bike gets a 6-speed gearbox, while the suspension setup is handled by 41 mm USD Kayaba forks at the front and a seven-step pre-load adjustable monoshock unit rear.

   Braking duties will be handled by discs at either end of the motorcycle, along with Nissin sourced Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS).

   The new Suzuki GSX-S750 is limited on electronic intervention, which will be appreciated by those looking for a simpler and more involved riding experience.

  The street-fighter gets three-mode traction control that optimises the power output depending on the road conditions.

   In terms of design, the Suzuki GSX-S750 offers a sharp styling identical to the S1000, featuring a chiselled fuel tank with vented front fender, a light rear fender and molded mirrors. The angular headlamp cluster looks sharp and is complimented by the additional plastic cowl for the indicators.

   The bike also gets LED taillights and split seats to complete the sporty effect. The bike rides on Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S21 tyres.

   That said, the Suzuki GSX-S750 is a naked sporty offering and emphasis has been given to keep things comfortable. The riding posture is upright, while the lack of a screen means minimal protection against the wind. All said, the GSX is a head turner and certainly boasts of a strong road presence.

   The 2018 Suzuki GSX-S750 competes in a highly lucrative segment against the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple, Aprilia Shiver 900 and the soon-to-be-launched 2018 Ducati Monster 821. Suzuki certainly undercuts most of its competition with a competitive price tag and that should keep the foot falls high at the bike maker's dealerships.      Car batteries store electricity, which is what ignites the fuel that gets your engine moving. When the battery's terminals are covered in corrosion, electricity can't flow properly, leaving you stuck in your tracks.

     

     Peek at the battery. Do you see a white, powdery substance on the metal terminals? That's corrosion. It could be causing your engine to not start or make it stall when idling.

     Your car battery should last an average of four or more years, depending on the brand and capacity, with routine maintenance—and proper cleaning is essential. Here's how to clean battery terminals.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS FOR CLEANING BATTERY TERMINALS :-

     Since your skin and clothes may come in contact with corrosive materials, protective goggles, gloves, and a work smock are advisable. Avoid touching metal parts of the vehicle, including the metal frame or nearby parts, to reduce the risk of shorting out the battery

     As you work, if you notice any crack or leaks in the battery, it's time to  replace this essential car parts.The same holds true for damage to the battery cables.

     If you have a newer vehicle, you'll need to take some extra precautions before disconnecting the battery, as some must be hooked up to a 12V battery source, like a jump box through the OBD port.

     Check your owner's manual or head to your local automotive repair shop to confirm that your vehicle doesn't have a special procedure for disconnecting the battery.

Reference your owner's manual to locate the car battery. Most are at the front of the vehicle, near the engine. Some cars place the battery at the rear, in the trunk area. Still others may require you to pull the driver's side front wheel and fender well for access.

2.

Turn the car off and raise the hood using the release lever or button. It's best to tackle this project after the car has cooled for at least 30 minutes.

3.

Slip on your safety goggles, work gloves, and protective apron.

4.

How to disconnect a car battery: Remove the rubber or plastic covers that protect the points where the battery cables connect to the battery terminals. There are two covers to remove.

5.

Identify the negative terminal. It should be labeled with a minus symbol or a black terminal cover. Use a pair of pliers or a socket wrench to loosen the clamp.

6.

Remove the clamp from the positive terminal. It will be labeled with a plus symbol or have a red cover.

7.

To clean corrosion off the battery: Follow the instructions on a bottle of  battery terminal cleaners application.
After you spray the product on the terminals and clamps, you may notice a foaming reaction.

8.

Use a wire brush to gently loosen the corrosion on the terminals and clamps. Scrub the terminals and clamps down to bare metal.

9.

Aim a spray bottle filled with water at the clamps and terminals to rinse away remaining foam and corrosion.

10.

Dry each terminal and clamp with a soft, clean cloth.

11.

Apply a thin layer of battery terminal protectant each terminal to prevent future corrosion.

12.

Reattach the clamp to the positive terminal first. Then, attach the remaining clamp to the negative terminal.

13.

Replace both terminal covers and close the car hood. Your batteries terminals are now free of corrosion, and your car should start with a turn of the key.

       The proper way to clean your cars Engine:

     Most drivers find it difficult to clean their engine, so we have come up with a number of ways which should help when cleaning your engine.

     You can clean any engine with the following common products:

1.Soft fiber towels

2.Brushes

3.Paint Markers

4.Spray wax

5.Soapy water

6.Pipe cleaner

7.Trim cleaner

3 Simple steps to clean your engine:

Preparation: Before you start cleaning your engine remove the battery from the car.

Make sure you don’t get water on the following:

1.Alternator and distributor

2.Engine Oil

3.Behind any plastic

4.Spark plugs

5.Brake and power steering reservoirs

Dry Clean: 

     Clean the dust of the top of the engine using an  air vacuum  and brush. They should take 5 minutes. You can clean the intake using a metal wired brush or a rotary tool.

Wet Clean: 

     For this, you’ll need a hose. You can clean a warm or cold engine, but if you decide to clean a warm engine make sure you can place your hand comfortably on the intake. 

You should never pour cold water on a hot engine because it can crack engine parts.

You can use the following items to clean your engine:

1.Hose

2.Cleaning wipes

3.Soapy Water

4.Garbage bag

5.Micro soft fiber towel

     Firstly, you want to cover your engine with a garbage bag.

     Start by cleaning the hood then continue by cleaning outside the engine bay.

     You can hose the hood liner and can also spray soapy water around the painted surface to remove the dirt and grease. Finally, rinse everything down with water.

     Secondly, before removing the bag you should clean the outside of the engine bay with water and a cleaning wipe, but notice that do not use a high pressure hose, and ensure you rinse off the dirt and debris. 

     To clean tight spots of the engine you can use a brush and a pipe cleaner. Repeat the same process on other parts of the engine.

     Usually, you would split the engine in two and start cleaning (for example, passengers side or drivers side).

     We recommend you start cleaning from the front to the back. You should not use a hose to clean the engine.

Next remove the intake so you can protect it.

Clean engine:

     Remove any grease and oil with a cleaning wipe soapy water and brush. For hard to reach areas you can use a tooth brush or pipe cleaner to absorb the soapy water. To do this, you should use a  fiber towels.  Lastly, clean the rest of the engine with the towel.

Detailing:

You can use fabric dye to restore the hood liner

      You can use  spray wax to clean around the hood and engine.

     To detail the rubber or plastic surface, you can use a water based trim restorer.  This is non greasy, wont collect dust,  rejuvenates and protects the rubber and plastic.

Don’t use any oil or greasy products to restore the engine:

     Apply a small amount or trim restorer and spread it around your engine bay.

Don’t apply this product on your belt.

Remove the trim restorer with a microfiber towel.

Lastly, you can use a paint marker to restore the faded lettering on caps.

Now your engine should now look brand new!

A plugged or leaking carburetor can usually be disassembled and cleaned in a rest stop. Fuel injection means you'll need to get towed. 

Carbs have been around for decades (probably over a century) and use basically the same principle to mix air and fuel powered by the vacuum of the piston's downstroke. They are usually gravity fed (in motorcycles) and are very reliable. My KLR and Harley have the same Keihin carb (different jetting, of course). My Harley has 70k miles on it with no carb issues. My KLR's carb has been cleaned in the field many times. It even got me home with a torn diaphragm. Most carbureted  bikes can be push started with a dead batter. Injected? Not so much.

Fuel injection usually involves an electronic fuel pump. It sprays the fuel right into the throttle body or cylinder. It gives greater mileage and performance. Most fuel injection systems have become very reliable and make cold starting a breeze. Cars like the old Mercedes have mechanical fuel injectors and no ignition system, which means if you can get it rolling down the road, it will start with no electrical system. Very handy in undeveloped areas or if your battery gets stolen.

In physics, the term refers to a coil whose length is substantially greater than its diameter, often wrapped around a metalliccore, which produces a uniform magnetic fieldin a volume of space (where some experiment might be carried out) when an electric currentis passed through it. A solenoid is a type of electromagnet when the purpose is to generate a controlled magnetic field. If the purpose of the solenoid is instead to impede changes in the electric current, a solenoid can be more specifically classified as an inductorrather than an electromagnet. Not all electromagnets and inductors are solenoids; for example, the first electromagnet, invented in 1824, had a horseshoe rather than a cylindrical solenoid shape.

In engineering, the term may also refer to a variety of transducer devices that convert energy into linear motion. The term is also often used to refer to a solenoid valve, which is an integrated device containing an electromechanical solenoid which actuates either a pneumatic or hydraulic valve, or a solenoid switch, which is a specific type of relay that internally uses an electromechanical solenoid to operate an electrical switch; for example, an automobile starter solenoid, or a linear solenoid, which is an electromechanical solenoid. Solenoid bolts, a type of electronic-mechanical locking mechanism, also exist.

What is ground clearance ?

Ride height (also called ground clearance or simply clearance) is the amount of space between the base of an automobile tire and the lowest point (typically the axle); or, more properly, to the shortest distance between a flat, level surface, and the lowest part of a vehicle other than those parts designed to contact the ground (such as tires, tracks, skis, etc.). Ground clearance is measured with standard vehicle equipment, and for cars, is usually given with no cargo or passengers.

Ground clearance is a critical factor in several important characteristics of a vehicle. For all vehicles, especially cars, variations in clearance represent a trade-off between handling and practicality. A higher ground clearance means that the center of mass of the car is higher, which makes for less precise and more dangerous handling characteristics (most notably, the chance of rollover is higher). However, it also means that the car is more capable of being driven on roads that are not level, without the road scraping against and likely damaging the chassis and underbody.    Higher ride heights will typically adversely affect aerodynamic properties. This is why sports cars typically have very low clearances, while off-road vehicles and SUVshave higher ones. Two well-known extremes of each are the Ferrari F40 and the Hummer.

For armored fighting vehicles (AFV), ground clearance presents an additional factor in a vehicle's overall performance: a lower ground clearance means that the vehicle minus the chassis is lower to the ground and thus harder to spot and harder to hit. The final design of any AFV reflects a compromise between being a smaller target on one hand, and having greater battlefield mobility on the other. Very few AFVs have top speeds at which car-like handling becomes an issue, though rollovers can and do occur. By contrast, an AFV is far more likely to need high ground clearance than a road vehicle.

Lowering a car's suspension is a common and relatively inexpensive aftermarket modification. Many people prefer the more aggressive look of a lowered body^{[according to whom?]}, and there is an easily realized car handling improvement from the lower center of gravity. Most passenger cars are produced such that one or two inches of lowering won't increase the probability of damage significantly. On most automobiles, ride height is modified by changing the length of the suspension springs, and is the essence of many aftermarket suspension kits supplied by manufacturers such as Eibach and H&R.

Some cars have used underslung frames to achieve a lower ride height and the consequent improvement in center of gravity. The brass-era cars of the American Motor Car Company are one example.^[1]

Self-leveling suspension systems are designed to maintain a constant ride height regardless of load. Vehicles not equipped with self-leveling will pitch down at one end when laden; this adversely affects ride, handling, and aerodynamic properties.

Some modern automobiles (such as Audi's Allroad Quattro) have adjustable suspension systems, which can vary the ride height by locating the suspension mounting points, depending on road conditions and/or the settings selected by the driver.

Other, simpler suspension systems, such as coilover springs, offer a way of manually adjusting ride height (and often, spring stiffness) by compressing the spring in situ, using a threaded shaft and adjustable knob or nut.

18-wheel tractor-trailers also have to take the ground clearance of both their tractor and especially trailer into consideration on certain areas of uneven terrain, such as raised railroad crossings. Their extremely long wheelbase means that such terrain could potentially catch the undercarriage of the trailer in the wide space between the axles, potentially leaving the truck stuck with no means to extricate itself.
